Well I been pushed to the edge by my head ache blues,

And I got pulled by the pull of the tide.

I got stripped of my soul, standing in my shoes.

Come back, come back, my little peace of mind.

M. Ward, I don't know what I would do without you.

So I'm up at dawn

Putting on my shoes

I just want to make a clean escape

I'm leaving, but I don't know where to

I know I'm leaving, but I don't know where to.

I don't know why I don't listen to Bright Eyes more often.

Distance over time.

Distance over space.

You can't make time go faster or slower. All you can do is wait.

But sometimes you need distance. So you have to create it spatially.

I need distance right now.

I miss interning.

I'm getting that itch again. The impulse to run. Metaphorically. I don't know why or from what. Everything?
